SKY (www.isky.co.kr) is launching the third generation (3G) full-touch phone, JamBand, this week in a full fledged manner through SK Telecom.
This product is characterized by the ‘SKY Musician’ function that enables users to play music as they want, the comfortable sense of grip as if the users are holding a pebble and the SKY full-touch phone specific hold key of the unique format.
‘SKY Musician’ function enables users to play four music instruments - piano, flute, guitar and drum - as they want, and to use the bell sound that they want. Moreover, it creates unique music by converting diagram and letters into music as well as enabling users to jam music instantly on the spot to pick up the ambience in a easy-to-play music playing method.
 This product was named JamBand, signifying spontaneous and impromptu jamming. JamBand has only a few set rules. Jamming refers to playing instantly right on the spot without practicing with other players in advance. In other words, even those who don’t know how to play music instruments can gather together to enjoy playing the four music instruments, piano, flute, guitar and drum that are offered by the ‘SKY Musician.’ This name was picked to emphasize this interesting function.
This product focused on the design to realize the optimal ‘sense of grip’ that makes users feel as if the phone is part of the hand. The sides and corners are cut out to turn into curves or sloped.
